April 2022, Hydor AS and MS Amlin Marine joined forces and became the founding members of the ACPII.The ACPII was founded to support and promote quality commercial P&I in the global markets and to safeguard the interest of its members.ACPII will liaise with stakeholders relevant to the shipping industry such as government agencies, regulators, trade associations and other international maritime and financial organizations.ACPII actively support and promote commercial P&I in the global markets. Marine Defence

It covers legal fees and court costs for various legal proceedings, including disputes related to the operation of the vessel, although it does not cover the actual damage itself. This insurance also includes the costs of defending or enforcing claims in disputes related to Charter Parties, Bills of Lading, sale and purchase agreements, and conflicts with shipyards or suppliers, among others.
